“My son tried to tell me to just quit cold turkey because patches, gum and etc. would just keep putting nicotine back in my system. I would pull the patch off and have a smoke and put it back on. My son was about 10 years old. I finally quit cold turkey, but too late. I’m 55 and my son is now 22. I have stage 4 COPD. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. It is a very terrible disease, and you can’t get state medicaide to pay for a lung transplant. You better be rich to get a transplant.”
